Cyberparks is crowned with success

In April 2019 the COST Programme made available the final assessment report of the COST Action CyberParks (cyberparks-project.eu). In the assessment the results and the project development were evaluated by an external expert. In the most issues CyberParks  passed with very good or excellent values. Here we share the final evaluation statement:

“Implementation of technology in public spaces is usually led by commercial rather than rational and socially oriented logics. This Action started a debate and made proposals on how to build technologically enhanced public spaces with a high grade of effectiveness and available to a wide range of users. It is very important that such a network, basically oriented to people’s needs could “survive” to the end of a cost programme and act as a reference for the European scenario.”

The excellent development of the Project is also reflected in its final report organised as an open access book CyberParks – The Interface Between People, Places and Technology – New Approaches and Perspectives, edited by Smaniotto Costa, C., Šuklje Erjavec, I., Kenna, T., de Lange, M., Ioannidis, K., Maksymiuk, G., de Waal, M.
