Catarina Patrício and Inês Almeida joined the fifth edition of the international conference Places And Technologies: Keeping Up With Technologies To Adapt Cities For Future Chalenges, held on the 26 th and 27 th of April at the Faculty of Architecture in Belgrade, Serbia. This conference presented “multidisciplinary knowledge that aimed to contribute with reflections, tools and strategies” that can best adapt the cities of the future to new and emerging social, economic and / or technological challenges.

Catarina Patrício, professor in the Department of Architecture and Urbanism (ECATI-ULHT), postdoc researcher at CECL, CIC.DIGITAL (FCSH-UNL), and member of Cost Action Tu 1306 "Cyberparks", presented the communication “Cities and Screens: Architecture and Information in the Age of Transductive Reproduction” in the session “Innovative methods and tools”.

Inês Almeida, associated researcher at CeiED ULHT and member of research project C3PLACES (Horizon 2020 – JPI UrbanEurope) presented the communication “The opportunities of mediated public spaces: co-creation process for more inclusive urban public spaces in the session “Citizen empowerment, public participation and democratic cities”.
