Maria de Lourdes Machado-Taylor

Coordinated and contributed to multi-disciplinary and multi-institutional research projects funded namely by the FCT (Portugal), Gulbenkian Foundation (Portugal), Capes (Brazil), Banque Africaine de Developement and European Commission. She is a TAIEX expert of the EU. Areas of research include Strategies, Higher Education Policies, and Gender Studies. Has received, research scholarships from Gulbenkian Foundation and Fulbright (USA). She has written and co-edited twelve books together with a large number of publications in national and international Journals. Supervised several scientific works (PHD and Master Degrees).
