Bento Cavadas

Bento Cavadas holds a degree in Biology/Geology Teaching from the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto and a PhD in Education Sciences from the Faculty of Education of the University of Salamanca, with the thesis "The evolution of secondary school natural science textbooks in Portugal, from 1836 to 2005". 

He is an Adjunct Professor at the Polytechnic University of Santarém, where he coordinates the Master's degree course in Primary School Teaching and Mathematics and Natural Science Teaching in Elementary School. He participated in several international projects, such as COST-EuroScitizen, and in Erasmus+ projects, such as ENREAC-HEI, YESI and the Teacher Academy Project - Teaching Sustainability.

He is author of school textbooks and other educational resources in the subject of Environmental Studies, Natural Sciences and Biology/Geology. He also integrates the CreativeLab_Sci&Math® project team.
