CeiED researcher Sónia Cardoso has published an opinion piece on the Doctoral Debate blog of the EUA Council for Doctoral Education – EUA-CDE, entitled “Are Portuguese doctoral candidates on board with changes to supervision?” Against the backdrop of the Portuguese reality, the article explores the apparent contradiction between changes in doctoral supervision and doctoral students’ impressions of these changes, which seems to suggest an alignment with a more “traditional” understanding of supervision.
