CeiED researchers at ECER 2023


Under the theme The Value of Diversity in Education and Educational Research, the European Conference on Educational Research 2023 (ECER 2023) was held from August 22 to 25 at the University of Glasgow, a conference attended by more than 3,400 participants from all over the world and which brings together the latest research in the field of education. CeiED also made its contribution, with the presence of four researchers who presented the following papers:

Cristina Sin and Orlanda Tavares, The Effect of Peers’ Sociocultural Capital on Disadvantaged Brazilian Undergraduate Students’ Achievement, as part of Network 22 – Research in Higher Education.

Elsa Estrela, Building a teacher: the role of narrative in teacher professionalism, within the scope of Network 10 – Teacher Education Research.

Teresa Teixeira Lopo, with the paper Post-pandemic continuities and changes in Basic Education (ISCED 1) in Portugal, within the scope of Network 28 – Sociologies of Education.

In addition to their papers, the researchers had the opportunity to take part in the meetings of the Networks in which they are working, as well as in workshops and cultural activities, which provided opportunities for networking, creating global links and sharing knowledge.
