Erasmus+: MARKA Project – Innovation and Inclusion in the construction of an identity curriculum

Louise Lima participated in the 2nd Transnational Project Meeting of the MARKA Project. MARKA: Innovation and Inclusion in building an identity curriculum is a 30-month international project, started in October 2020, and funded by the ERASMUS+ KA201 Program. The general objective is based on the construction of an identity curriculum in articulation with the local heritage. It aims to provide an opportunity for the development of pedagogical practices together with different partners from the school community, such as associations and other local institutions, to enrich and diversify the curricular expression, enhancing learning in context.

The meeting took place in Cyprus and was attended by teachers from schools in Cyprus, Estonia, Italy and Portugal; as well as trainers from North Macedonia. It was an opportunity for each School to reflect and share the development of the project, as well as clarify the stages of the project and establish new objectives. It also constituted a moment for the collection of data for the elaboration of the Methodological Guide for the construction of a curriculum, research coordinated by Professor Ariana Cosme with the contribution of the researchers Louise Lima (CeiED) and Daniela Ferreira (CIIE-FPCEUP).
