Charter of Ethics
The implementation of high quality and socially relevant scientific research in the fields of Education and Human Development was one of the three main goals that paved the way to the establishment of CeiED and that continues to guide its functioning. In order to attain this goal, the CeiED gives utmost importance to maintaining high standards of integrity and accountability in relation to research participants, society, the research community and providers of research funding, as well as with respect to the acquisition of knowledge itself, and such valued principles are defined in its Charter of Ethical Principles.
In this sense, the adoption of this Charter mainly aims to provide support to all who engage in research within CeiED, from research design to implementation, in accordance with the highest ethical standards, notwithstanding their academic and/or professional status, scientific area, methodological approach, context in which research takes place, or the scale of projects.
