Partnerships

IARTEM is a community of researchers who work to promote research on – and understanding of textbooks and educational media. IARTEM works to establish contacts between all parties interested in educational media and textbook issues and strengthen the focus on educational media and textbook issues in teacher education and teacher training.

The Inter-university Framework Program for Equity and Social Cohesion Policies in Higher Education in Latin America, called RIAIPE3, is a project developed by a consortium led by Professor AntónioTeodoro, Director of the Interdisciplinary Research Centre for Education and Development (CeiED) of the Universidade Lusófona de Humanidades e Tecnologias, under the ALFA III program, an European Commission program for cooperation abroad. It is a project developed during three years and included funding for 80% of total costs, around 2.8 million Euros.

The Latin-America Network of Theoretical and Epistemological Studies for Educational Policies was created due to an initiative of some Argentinian and Brazilian public universities. It was formed by researchers, who use the epistemological perspective to analyze the educational policies in their different approaches: knowledge production, research, among others.

The Latin-American Council of Social Sciences (CLACSO) is a non-governmental international organization with UNESCO associate status, established in 1967.

Currently brings together 394 research centers and graduate schools in the field of the social sciences and humanities in 37 countries from Latin America, USA, Canada, Germany, Spain, France and Portugal.
