Participation in the fifth meeting of the STAIRS project

Professor Ana Paula Silva and Filipa Lourenço, our science manager, took part in the fifth project meeting of Stakeholders Together Adapting Ideas to Readjust Local Systems to Promote Inclusive Education (STAIRS).

The first face-to-face meeting since the COVID-19 pandemic crisis began. This meeting took place in Ljubljana, Slovenia, in a hybrid format as Irish and Czech colleagues were unable to travel.

The work agenda included a detailed analysis of the circumstances experienced by all partners and their institutions, taking stock of the project tasks carried out and in the production phase. The National Adaptation Plans (NAPs) were presented, the European Adaptation Guidelines (EAGs), the MOOC and the Change Management Toolkit (CMT) discussed, the latter under the responsibility of CeiED, namely Professor Ana Paula Silva, within the scope of the leadership of Work Package 4.

The works revealed the good progress of the project and the very positive expectations about the quality of the outputs under construction. The entire output of the project, namely the MOOC, on the adaptation of good practices in inclusive education in Hungary, Croatia, Slovenia, and the Czech Republic, based on the study of good Irish and Portuguese examples, will be, next year, available on a CANVAS platform. This course may be attended by interested parties, anywhere in the world and not just in the European Union.
