Biographical note

Degree in Sociology by ISCTE-IUL. PhD and Master Degree by Instituto de Ciências Sociais da Universidade de Lisboa, ICS-UL. PhD in Social Sciences, specialization in General Sociology and Master, also in Social Sciences, specialty Networks, Public Action and Social Issues. From 2000 to 2016 he developed research in several international and national projects at CIES-ISCTE and ICS-UL in the area of ​​family, education and public policies in Portugal and Europe. She was a founding researcher at the Ministry of Education’s School Security Observatory. He has published books in the area of ​​family and education, namely in 2018, the book Management and Financing of Schools: Indicators, Policies and Actors, edited by the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation. Since the 2016-2017 academic master, he has been a lecturer at Universidade Lusófona. She is a researcher at CeiED (Erasmus + Family-based Open Science Schoolinge Project) and a member of the Observatory of Education, Training and Science Policies (OP.Edu). He is part of the Scientific Council of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Education and Administration of the Lusophone University of Humanities and Technology.
