Fernando Silva

Biographical note

Collaborating researcher at the Center for Interdisciplinary Studies in Education and Development (CeiED) of the Lúsofona University of Humanities and Technologies (ULHT), in Lisbon and collaborator in the Research Practice Community “Identities, Democracy, School, Administration and Training” (IDEAFor) at Faculty of Psychology of Educational Sciences of the University of Porto (FPCEUP). PhD in Education from ULHT, Master in Administration and Planning in Education from Universidade Portucalense (Porto), Curricular Part of the Master in Economics Teaching from the Faculty of Economics of Porto, University of Porto, with a degree in Economics from the Faculty of Economics of Porto, University from Porto.

I taught for 33 years in secondary education in group 430 (Economics and Accounting), currently retired. He wrote and edited several articles in specialized research magazines as author and co-author (articles, books and chapters), published in Portuguese and in English. He has several books published in the field of Economics of Secondary Education, both of the General Course and the Professional Course.

Trainer credited since August 3, 2005 by the Scientific Pedagogical Council for Continuing Education (CCPFC), holder of the Certificate of Registration CCPFC / RFO – 19612/05, having already carried out several Training Actions for teachers who provided credits for career progression.

I have been arguing several times for presentation dissertations to obtain the degree of Master of candidates by the Lusófona University of Porto and by the Escola Superior de Educação (Polytechnic Institute of Porto).

In the academic years 2018/19, 2019/20 and 2020/21 I mentored, in the Mentoring program of the Association of Former Students of the Faculty of Economics of Porto (AAAFEP), undergraduate and master students.
