Biographical note
hD in Education – Educational Psychology from the University of Lisbon (2001).
Integrated researcher at the Interdisciplinary Research Centre for Education and Development (ULHT).
Associate Professor at the Lusófona University (ULHT), since 2010. She has held teaching positions at Instituto Superior de Psicologia Aplicada (ISPA) between 1989 and 2010, collaborating there in the fields of Educational Psychology and Community Psychology. She collaborated with other institutions in continuous and post-graduate education, namely with the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Lisbon, the Lutheran University of Brazil (PA) and the Irene Lisboa Institute.
She held positions in Psychology and Counseling Services between 1979 and 2010, in which context she supervised internships in Educational Psychology between 1992 and 2009.
She collaborated with some public institutions in the study, evaluation and / or proposal of measures in the fields of Education and Educational Psychology, namely with the Institute of Educational Innovation and the National Education Council.
In the field of research, she has collaborated with ISPA’s Unit for Research in Cognitive Psychology, Development and Education, where she has developed research in the areas of interpersonal conflict, indiscipline and violence in school, morality and justice, areas where she has been the author of several communications and publications.
