Diogo Mateus
Biographical note
Doctorate, Master and Bachelor in Urbanism. Assistant Professor at the Lusófona University of Humanities and Technologies in the courses of Bachelor, Master and Doctorate in Urbanism where he teaches: History of the City and the Territory; Theory of Urbanism; Urban Rehabilitation; Research Methodologies in Urbanism.
As a researcher, he develops work in the area of Urbanism, particularly in development and evaluation of urban policies, urbanism theory, urban rehabilitation and heritage and urban quality of life. The main research projects include the European projects LUDA (FP5) and Technolangue (INTERREG – MEDOC / MEDA).
He is founder and current president of the Professional Association of Portuguese Urbanists – APROURB. Managing Partner of GEOIDEIA, Territory Organization Studies, Lda. He is the Student Provider at ULHT.
