Orlanda Tavares holds a PhD in Educational Sciences from the University of Porto, Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences. She is interested in research on higher education policies, more particularly in the areas of equity, academic inbreeding, internationalisation, employability and quality assurance. Her research outputs has been published in several international peer-reviewed journals and in several international books.
She is currently a member of the CHER (Consortium of Higher Education Researchers), and of the network COST (European Cooperation in Science and Technology).
