Biographical Note

Graduated in Applied Psychology by the Instituto Superior de Psicologia Aplicada (ISPA; LISBON, 1977), completed in 1986 the Advanced Studies in Psychology of Education, promoted by ISPA in collaboration with the Bristol University.

Did his Master’s Degree in Education Psychology at ISPA in 1992 and PhD in Psychology by the University Complutense of Madrid, Spain, in 1996, recognized by the Minho University, Portugal, in 1997.

Lecturer at Universidade Lusófona de Humanidades e Tecnologias as an Invited Associative Professor, in the Courses of Graduation, Master’s and PhD in Sciences of the Education, director of Master’s degree Course in Education Sciences, member of the UID CeiED and integrated in the research group Inclusion, learning and socioeducative mediation.

. Was the principal Investigator in two approved projects financed by FCT (SAPIENS POCT/CED 38433/2001 AND PTDC/CED/65691/2006).
