PhD student in Educational Sciences at Universidade Lusófona, Master’s in Educational Sciences at Universidade Lusófona (2018), Specialization in Higher Education Didactics at Centro Universitário Inta – UNINTA (2019), Specialization in Education Sciences at Faculdades Inta (2011), Specialization in 1st Degree Teaching from the State University of Vale do Acaraú (1994), Degree in Theology from the Faculty of Technological Education (1993), Degree in Pedagogy from the Universidade Estadual Vale do Acaraú – UVA (1995) and Degree in History from the Faculty of Philosophy Dom José de Sobral (1981). She worked as Supervisor of the Brazilian Literacy Movement from 1976 to 1980. She was Regional Manager of the Brazilian Legion of Assistance – LBA from 1990 to 1994. She was a Teacher at the Crede 6 State Network from 1980 to 2010. She was APAE Volunteer Coordinator for 3 years. From 2003 to 2016, she was the Coordinator of the Lato Sensu Postgraduate Program at the Higher Institute of Applied Theology – INTA.

Abstract
The research “Higher Education in Sobral: historical journey from 1960 to 2020” has as its central objective, to contribute to the diffusion of the History of Higher Education in Sobral, through the historical investigation of the Faculty of Philosophy Dom José / State University Vale do Acaraú – UVA; The University Centre Inta – Uninta and the Faculty Luciano Feijão.
From the development of this research we intend to trace a historical panorama of the development and constitution of institutions of higher education in Sobral, contributing to the diffusion and expansion of knowledge about higher education in the city, while allowing us to understand the economic, social and cultural transformations in the city, resulting from the installation and operation of these institutions in Sobral.
Based on the above, the problematic of this research consists in analyzing the historical, economic and social context of the creation and diffusion of Higher Education Institutions in Sobral, in the period from 1960 to 2020, answering the questions: which are the actors of this process? What are the interests involved and what are the public policies that enabled the implementation and development? What are the social, cultural, political and economic impacts resulting from the implementation and development?
