Bachelor in International Relations and a masters’ degree in Social and Cultural Anthropology from Coimbra University. Her special interests focus in areas of informal education and communities of practice, social sciences methodology, information and communications technologies and public spaces.
Professional and academic experience in the areas of education for development and human rights. As a researcher she explored the social practices of groups emerging from digital encounter, for instance researching the technical skills and practical tools at use, the reconfiguration of legitimate sources of knowledge production and the educational and self-gratification component of groups to whom the know-how is a crucial identity mark.
