Degree in Physical Education; Postgraduate degree in Sports Training, Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais; Master’s degree in Education Sciences, Universidad de Matanzas Camilo Cienfuegos – CUBA;
PhD student in Education, Universidade Lusófona de Humanidades e Tecnologias. Professor at the Federal University of Maranhão, located in the Physical Education Course Coordination CCHNST – Pinheiro – MA.
He works in the research areas of Teaching and Learning Processes and Social Training, with subareas of interest in Sports Training, Special Education, Popular Culture and Folklore, Collective Health and Sociology of Sports.

Abstract
The research aims to analyze how a methodological alternative, for the process of teaching and learning of sport, can contribute to the formation of the value of solidarity in physical education classes with students in the 1st year of high school in public schools in Pinheiro – MA. For such, it is intended to apply a field research, applying an interview with Physical Education teachers and students of the 1st year of high school, subsequently the application and monitoring of the alternative and application of a new questionnaire with students to assess the construction and understanding of the Solidarity Value judgment.
