Abstract

The research proposal is to present the creation of a museum circuit that currently promotes culture, memory and social tourism in the Cariri region of Ceará in Brazil. The southern region of the state of Ceará provides a cultural mosaic that can be approached by History, Archeology, Biology, Geology, Paleontology, among other areas of knowledge, and such a wealth of possibilities triggered a process of submission of candidacy to UNESCO for the recognition of the Chapada do Araripe as a Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
