STAIRS Bridiging the Gap Between Education and the Local Community
The knowledge and materials, produced within the scope of the project Stakeholders Together Adapting Ideas to Readjust Local Systems to Promote Inclusive Education (STAIRS), were shared by Professor Ana Paula Silva in the international course Bridge the Gap Between Education and the Local Community, developed in partnership by the Teacher Training Center of AlmadaForma (Almada, PT) and Eekhout Academy (Flanders, BE), between 11 and 15 October 2021.
The course was aimed at teachers, school leaders and managers as well as political leaders from France and Belgium, mostly from city of Bruges. The essential part of the sharing and analysis focused on the good practices of inclusion in education in Portuguese schools and groups of schools, namely the AE de Santo António, in Barreiro; the AE José Saramago, in Poceirão; and the Ferreira Dias Secondary School in Agualva, Cacém.
In this way, it was frutifully shared the work that has been developed by CeiED, national partner in the international STAIRS project, and in particular by Professor Ana Paula Silva, energetic defender of the Portuguese education system and its inclusive good practices.
