Webinar “The use of user data to understand the impact of COVID-19 in an unplanned territory. The Case of São Tomé and Príncipe”
CeiED invites researchers, professors and students to participate in the webinar “The use of user data to understand the impact of COVID-19 in an unplanned territory. The Case of São Tomé and Príncipe”, which will take place on October 6th, at 4 pm (Lisbon), organized by researchers Nagayamma Aragão / CIDATE and Carlos Smaniotto Costa / CIDATE.
Within the scope of the Projects baseRiU and Cyted RUN, a small study was carried out aiming to understand the potential of new mobile communication technologies in acquiring geo-tagged data (spatial metadata), to address different challenges, in a case study with relevance to the issues of mobility. This study is supported by the understanding that the territory is a resource and a strategic tool to face and provide answers to sustainability issues and to better understand the emergence of COVID-19 in an unplanned territory.
