Abstract of the Project

Most schools are trying to find solutions for the new situation resulted from Covid-19 and for now, digitalizing the education seems to be the best solution. We believe that our project will be especially beneficial in enhancing the quality and effectiveness of new digital education process, where the schools are facing the challenge to meet the needs of the changing educational environments especially presented by the recent sudden shift to online and distance learning because of Covid-19.In our project, learning and applying the Blended Learning method as an innovative approach will create new innovative opportunities for teachers to be ready for the digital education and to learn how to engage students in lessons more during online and distance education and to enhance their learning experience. Technology is playing a key role in keeping students with physical and learning disabilities stay engaged in class and at home, so our project will also support social inclusion in education with students’ learning at their own pace by accessing their lessons as many times as necessary for full comprehension. This project will also guide teachers about how they can integrate technology into the curriculum creating a more accessible learning environment. So it will contribute enhancing digital integration in learning, teaching and training at various levels, strengthening the profile of the teaching profession. The project will give high quality learning opportunities because teacher and school administrators’ perceptions on the value of technology integration into the curriculum and designing a new online learning model which promotes collaboration, active and personalized learning will be promoted to gain much more effective online learning environment. This will also lead new teaching approaches which include technology usage in an innovative way before and during online classrooms to develop basic and transversal skills using innovative methods. Project outcomes will contribute to these priorities using Blended Learning Method as an innovative approach in online learning.

Project Objectives

This project will guide teachers about how they can integrate technology into the curriculum creating a more accessible learning environment. So it will contribute enhancing digital integration in learning, teaching and training at various levels, strengthening the profile of the teaching profession. The project will give high quality learning opportunities because teacher and school administrators’ perceptions on the value of technology integration into the curriculum.

Project Results

With our project we aim to reduce failure rates, improve learning, and boost engagement. Blended learning combines the best aspects of face-to-face teaching and online instruction in ways that enable students to learn at their own pace. By using a combination of digital instruction and one-on-one face time, students will be able to work on their own with new concepts which frees teachers up to circulate and support individual students who may need individualized attention.
