Portugal and the PISA (2000-2018), funded by the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT), under the scientific direction of Professor António Teodoro.

The quest for growth and development has unveiled profound inequalities anchored in deficits of equity, inclusion and democratic participation. The UNESCO Global Report entitled “Reimagining our futures together: a new social contract for education”, published in 2021 and informed by a worldwide and open consultation process involving over one million people, aims to catalyse a global debate on how education can shape peaceful, just and sustainable common futures by starting with three essential questions: What should we continue to do? What should we stop doing? What do we need to creatively reinvent?

Doctoral College promotes workshop on Scientific Writing

Following the activities of the CDCC Work Plan 2021-2022, we invite you to participate in the workshop Elaboration of scientific articles, reviews and other academic papers, that will take place on the 25th of November, from 4pm to 6pm (Lisbon time) via Zoom. International Conference “Paulo Freire: A Centenary of Actuality”

The Paulo Freire International Congress: A Centenary of Actuality, which will take place on December 13, 14 and 15, will be an event which involves a set of varied activities to celebrate Paulo Freire’s centenary through conferences, lectures, round tables, thematic round tables, poster presentations and cultural moments.

Applications are open for the 3rd edition of CeiED’s Exploratory Projects

It is open the call for applications for the 3rd edition of CeiED’s Exploratory Projects. This call supports new R&D projects to be developed by CeiED’s integrated researchers and collaborators, as well as by PhD students, and is internally funded by the Research Unit, under its Strategic Plan. Projects must start in January 2022, last between six months and 12 months, and the budget must not exceed EUR 5,000 (five thousand euros).
