Abstract

The current research is based on the theoretical framework of social representations and pedagogy in higher education, with the aim of understanding and describing teachers' social representations of the pedagogical aggregation courses for access to the teaching profession and establishing ways of acting that are congruent with the profile of teachers at HEIs in Angola. Knowing how teachers perceive these courses can provide valuable information about their continuing education needs and expectations for their professional development. From a methodological point of view, the idea is to carry out an investigation using a qualitative approach, which is an interpretative proposal that tries to get to the heart of the matter, but at the same time is diverse.
