The PISA 2022 Seminar will be held online on 11 January 2024 (Thursday).

Discourses, the truth of the numbers and post-pandemic changes in education, organised by OP.Edu - Observatory of Education and Training Policies and in collaboration with the Autonomous Section of General Education and Training of the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences of Universidade Nova de Lisboa.

In partnership with the António Sérgio School Training Centre, this event is certified under Order 5741/2015 of 29 May, for the purposes of progression in the teaching career - kindergarten teachers, primary and secondary school teachers and special education teachers. Programme

A month after the OECD - Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development - released the results of the latest edition of PISA - Programme for International Student Assessment, the Seminar aims to open a space for sharing and informed debate on the regulation of education policies through the so-called International Large-Scale Assessments (ILSAs), of which PISA is the most iconic representative, from the questioning of the PISA 2022 figures and the post-pandemic changes in education, the relationship between Portugal's participation in PISA and the improvement of its equity levels, the discourses of PISA and the conceptual and methodological limitations that the Programme has placed on education research.
