CeiED is currently home to Professor Francisco Paulo do Nascimento, who holds a PhD from the Catholic University of Brasilia and teaches and coordinates a postgraduate course at the UDF University Center.

His research focuses on teacher training, with a particular focus on contemporary challenges, such as preparing current teachers for the themes of the future, such as biophilia and the relationship with nature, in the process of training tomorrow's teachers.

If he had the opportunity to make an appeal to the scientific community, Francisco Paulo would like to see a return to research with the awareness of serving the planet and the biosphere first and foremost.
