Abstract

Social inclusion is linked to various conceptions and paradigm changes in relation to the right, citizenship and educational needs of people with disabilities in their relationships and experiences in different spheres of society. In this way, it is essential to provide everyone and everyone with access to the best possible living and learning conditions, which need and should benefit from the acceptance, help and solidarity of their peers, in a climate where being different is a value (LEITÃO, 2019).

Thus, this project has as its theme quality of life (Qol) in the process of transition to after-school life (DVT) of young people with Intellectual and Developmental Difficulties (DID), as well as the impact of personal and contextual factors in Brazil.

QoL will be evaluated through the Personal Scale of Results-Children and Youth - EPR-CJ (Simões, 2019), the Portuguese version of the Personal Outcomes Scale-Children and Adolescents (Claes, Mostert, Moonen, Van Loon, & Schalock, 2015). Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) will be used for statistical analysis of the data.
