AGRRIN Project - Generating Bodies: from aggression to insurgency. Contributions to a decolonial pedagogy (CeiED - Universidade Lusófona | DOI 10.54499/2022.06269.PTDC.), aims to map and analyse everyday processes of racism and insurgency in contemporary Portugal, namely: to understand the expressions of everyday racism, to identify how affirmative actions of reaction and resistance are developed, and to propose contributions to the construction of a decolonial pedagogy.
Based on the aforementioned context, CeiED and the Department of Museology invite you to attend the III National Seminar of the AGRRIN Project entitled "Between the street, art and the museum: racial violence, memory and heritage", which will take place on 28 June 2024 in room S.0 .11, at the University Centre of Lisbon of the Lusófona University and, on the following day, 29 June 2024, participation in the "NOZ History" walk, a route that tells the memories and silenced stories of the black neighbourhoods that developed and were destroyed on the outskirts of Lisbon.
Places on the tour are limited and will be selected in order of enrolment.
