Teachers are central agents in shaping how new generations understand and inhabit the digital world. In an era where artificial intelligence is redefining processes, practices and knowledge, it is time to have a conversation about the informatics teacher that schools need.

The Master's in Computer Science Teaching at Universidade Lusófona - Lisbon University Centre (CUL) and Porto University Centre (CUP), invites teachers, educators, students and all those interested to a free, online open lecture. A session to learn about these programmes and reflect on the educational, pedagogical and curricular role of the informatics teacher in today's schools.

The open lecture will feature João Filipe Matos, Director of the Master's at CUL, and André Freitas, Director of the Master's at CUP.
