Ana Sofia Pereira, a PhD candidate in Education (3rd year), delivered the opening lecture of the HOCUS POCUS Seminar, held as part of the Opening of the 2025/26 Academic Year of the Municipality of Barcelos.
In her presentation, she emphasized the importance of Pedagogical Differentiation as an essential strategy for building more inclusive, equitable, and meaningful educational practices.
The Seminar was part of the activities of the Network for Innovation, Educational Success and Equity (RISEe), whose mission is to promote the holistic development of children, young people, and adults, with a strong focus on well-being, equity, and inclusion.
Acknowledged for its positive impact on educators and teachers and, above all, for the direct benefits it brings to students, the HOCUS POCUS program has increasingly established itself as a benchmark in strengthening innovative pedagogical practices.
