The World Council of Comparative Education Societies (WCCES) has announced the election of António Teodoro to the position of Vice-President of the Council.

WCCES is an international non-governmental organisation that represents, at international level, duly constituted societies and groups of comparative educators who are accepted as members in accordance with its Statutes.

WCCES, founded in 1970 as an international academic organisation of comparative education societies from around the world, has been in official consultative partnership with UNESCO since 1973.
