António Teodoro was invited to participate in the First Doctoral Conference of the Sociotechnical University of Mozambique (UniSoM), held as part of the Opening Conference of the Postgraduate Programmes, under the theme “The missions of universities and the debates on doctoral education.”

The reflections he presented stemmed from a career marked by scientific rigour and extensive academic experience, through which António Teodoro has made a significant contribution to the international debate on higher education policies and doctoral training.

His presentation aligned closely with the vision and mission of UniSoM, which seeks to promote a critical approach to doctoral education, understood as a process that integrates teaching, research, and university extension — three fundamental pillars for strengthening the contemporary university.
