The European Conference on Social Work Education 2023 - Diversity and Social Work Education: Building Bridges to Sustainable Futures took place from 20 to 23 June at the Instituto Superior de Serviço Social do Porto.

The event, whose working language was exclusively English, was attended by professors and researchers from several universities from Europe, Canada, Africa and Latin America.  

In the occasion, the doctoral student Felisberto Kiluange Costa, affiliated to CeiED - Universidade Lusófona, presented a communication, discussing the need to rescue the African Philosophy Ubuntu as a reference for the deepening of values to develop in students of Higher Education in Angola, particularly students of Social Work.
