The Bachelor’s Degree in Portuguese Studies, a new programme at Universidade Lusófona, is designed to address current and future challenges in the field of the Portuguese language, in light of the context of complexity and the potential of this language for the social, scientific, and professional development of Portugal and Portuguese-speaking countries.

The programme offers comprehensive training in the Portuguese language, cultures, and literatures, approached from a contemporary and interdisciplinary perspective. It includes education on language as a human capacity for communication, knowledge construction, and the transmission of culture.
