CeiED is one of the 17 signatory organisations of the document "Pensar e construir o futuro da Investigação em Educação em Portugal" (Thinking and Building the Future of Education Research in Portugal), submitted to the Strategic Evaluation team of the Research and Innovation Agenda (AI²). The text stems from a bottom-up initiative organised by CIDTFF on 18 September at the University of Aveiro, which brought together 24 participants from nine Portuguese research centres and education-related institutions.

The document addresses the four central questions of the strategic evaluation, concerning the allocation of the budget among R&D Areas, Strategic Domains and the Innovation Promotion Unit, and the number and budget distribution of the Strategic Domains. It was signed by 17 organisations and 163 individuals.
