CeiED has opened the call for the 6th edition of the Seed Projects – Exploratory Projects 2025–2026, aimed at providing internal funding for new R&D projects developed by integrated researchers, CeiED collaborators, and researchers in training affiliated with the Centre. Projects must align with one or more of CeiED’s ReLeCo, include at least one researcher in training and one PhD-holding researcher, begin by the end of March 2026, and have a duration of between six and twelve months. The maximum funding is €5,000 per project, with a total allocation of €10,000.

Proposals must be submitted in Portuguese and include the following elements: objectives, state of the art, activity plan, timeline, justified budget, team (with ORCID and Ciência ID), and a plan for disseminating results. Proposals will be evaluated by a jury chaired by the Director of CeiED, based on scientific quality, dissemination strategy, contribution to the Unit’s interdisciplinary strategic development, and the integration of early-career researchers. The communication of results is expected by 6 March 2026.
