The Interdisciplinary Research Center for Education and Development (CeiED) has announced the guidelines for the 5th edition of its internal funding program for Exploratory R&D Projects for 2024-2025. This initiative aims to support new research projects aligned with the unit’s strategic plan.

Eligibility Criteria and Duration
Proposals must be led by researchers integrated into or collaborating with CeiED and include at least one researcher in training and one integrated PhD researcher. Projects must start by February 2025 and can last between 6 to 12 months, with the possibility of an extension of up to 120 days.

Budget and Eligible Expenses
The maximum funding per project is €5,000, with a total of €10,000 allocated to the program. Eligible expenses include travel for research purposes, scholarships for young researchers in training, scientific dissemination, and equipment acquisition.

Submission and Evaluation
Applications must be submitted by December 30, 2024. Selection criteria include the quality of the proposal (30%), dissemination plan (40%), and impact on CeiED’s strategic development (15%). Results will be announced by January 28, 2025.
