CeiED participates in the closing Roundtable of the VII ENJIE

The researcher from CeiED Teresa Teixeira Lopo was one of the keynote speakers at the closing Roundtable of the VII ENJIE – National Meeting of Young Researchers in Education, held in Porto, on 4 February, under the theme Research in Education and Public Policies.

Teresa Teixeira Lopo centred her intervention and the discussion with the public on the role and space occupied by new actors/private actors in educational research, the new ways of thinking about the production and distribution of knowledge and the researchers’ transition between spaces of knowledge production.

Professors and researchers Licínio Lima (CIEd, University of Minho), Pedro Duarte (inED, Instituto Politécnico do Porto) and Tiago Neves (CIIE, University of Porto) also participated in the Round Table. Luís Rothes (inED, Instituto Politécnico do Porto) was in charge of the moderation of the round table.

ENJIE is an annual meeting promoted by the Research Centres in Education Sciences. In 2023, it had its seventh edition, organised by the Centre for Educational Research and Intervention (CIIE/FPCEUP) and the Centre for Research and Innovation in Education (inED/ESE/IPP), in coordination with the Coordinating Council of Research Centres in Education Sciences and Policies.

The main goal of ENJIE is to provide an opportunity for young researchers in the field of Education Sciences to present and discuss their work in progress, thus providing a favourable environment for interaction and sharing of knowledge and experiences, as well as the mutual enrichment of their individual research and training paths.
