CeiED researcher serves as external examiner in PhD viva at Lancaster University

On October 25, from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM (Lisbon time), CeiED researcher Sónia Cardoso served as external examiner in the online PhD viva of Angelique Grech, at the invitation of the Department of Educational Research, Lancaster University, United Kingdom. The thesis, titled "Quality Assurance in a Small Island State and its Implications for Policy and Practice: Complex Patterns of Sensemaking in Maltese Higher Education", was supervised by Professor Paul Trowler, with Professor Murray Saunders acting as the internal examiner. The session was held entirely online and was restricted to the participants directly involved. This invitation highlights the international recognition of Sónia Cardoso’s expertise in higher education policy and reinforces the academic collaboration between CeiED and leading international research institutions.
