CeiED was present at the Science Meeting’22 that took place on 16, 17 and 18 May at the Lisbon Congress Centre, Junqueira.

On the 16th, Professor António Teodoro – Scientific Director of CeiED – moderated the panel Quality Education II that took place in room 5A.

This panel was attended by Maria de Lurdes Rosa from the Institute of Medieval Studies, Teresa M. Seixas from the Centre for Research on Earth and Space of the University of Coimbra (CITEUC), João Luís Cordovil from the Centre of Philosophy of Sciences of the University of Lisbon, António J. A. Nogueira from the Centre for Environment and Sea Studies, Paulo Pombinho from LASIGE – Extreme Computing, Silvia di Marco from the Centre for Philosophy of Sciences of the University of Lisbon and Teresa Carvalho from the Centre for Research into Higher Education Policies (CIPES), making the session quite heterogeneous and stimulating a richer discussion.

CeiED’s Integrated Researcher, Lucimar Dantas, was also present, but on the panel Quality Education III. The researcher participated as moderator of the panel moderated by Luís Miguel de Figueiredo Silva de Carvalho from the Unit of Research and Development in Education and Training. The paper presented is entitled Mother tongue teaching and the development of skills for the 21st century. A comparative study of secondary school mother tongue language programmes in 6 countries and can be viewed here.
