HE Institutions Participating in the CCT Project in Turin
6 july 2023

The last working meeting of the institutions participating in the Fostering Students' Creativity and Critical Thinking in Higher Education and Teacher Education project took place on 29-30 June at the Politecnico di Torino, organised by the OECD team responsible for the project, led by Stephan VINCENT-LANCRIN.
This meeting provided an opportunity for the network of higher education and teacher education institutions and project experts to meet and discuss their experiences in promoting innovative approaches to develop and assess students' creativity and critical thinking. On the other hand, the participants had the opportunity to review the project results in order to increase its relevance for the current national and international contexts of higher education.
The Lusófona University was represented by Professor Elsa Estrela, co-coordinator of the project in the institution, who presented the institutional strategy related to the theme of the project, which includes strengthening the inter-institutional work at the level of the National Network for Critical Thinking - Crithinknet - in order to involve more teachers of the institution, as well as improving the offer of the curricular unit Knowledge and Creativity for Innovation, in order to bring it closer to the students' needs.
The results of the project will be partially known at an event to be held in Paris on 23 and 24 November 2023, with the launch of the book corresponding to the results of all the work developed since 2018 planned for 2024.
