Last Thursday, October 19, the IE-FCSEA 2023/2024 School Year Opening Ceremony took place.

The event, which took place online due to Civil Protection warnings, was attended by 279 participants.

The event began with a warm welcome session, led by António Costa Pinto, Director of FCSEA, and António Teodoro, Director of IE and CeiED. During this session, the students enrolled in the Institute of Education's courses were welcomed, marking the start of a new and exciting academic year.

This was followed by a stimulating Round Table entitled "The Future of Education (and Education Research)", moderated by Rosa Serradas Duarte. At this round table, António Teodoro, Director of IE, and André Robert, representing the Université de Lyon, shared their perspectives on the future paths of education and educational research.
