It is created the Citizen Science Doctoral College EMU – CeiED

On April 15, the Scientific Council of CeiED approved the Regulations of the Doctoral College of Citizen Science – Education, Museology and Urbanism – CeiED. This is an initiative that has been in preparation for over a year in CeiED and that is now materializing.

The CDCC EMU – CeiED assumes itself as a learning community formed by doctoral students, teachers/supervisors, researchers and has as its identity principle to be: “a space for the co-creation of scientific knowledge, based on the principles of social and cognitive justice, which may contribute directly to the development of investigations conducted by its members and, indirectly, with the consolidation of a collaborative scientific culture, inter/transdisciplinary, attentive to contemporary challenges of society and the place of science in this context.

Effectively, the CDCC EMU – CeiED gathers a set of interdisciplinary activities to support doctoral students in the development of their research path, namely the development of transversal competences, integration in international networks, support in the processes of application for grants and other funding.

Participation in the CDCC EMU – CeiED is by registration, using the form provided for this purpose, which will soon be available at CeiED’s website.

The public presentation of the Doctoral College will take place on 27 May, at 16.00, through the Zoom platform. The programme and the access information will be released soon.
