On 8 March 2024, Pedro Gonçalves, a Master's student in Visual Arts Education, had the privilege of participating in the Ocean Literacy in Action event at the European Ocean Days in Brussels, promoted by DG MARE and the EU4Ocean coalition, with the support of IOC/UNESCO.

The student had the opportunity to share the project "Artful Ocean: Literacy and Art", which he is developing as part of his research within the scope of the aforementioned master's degree and the Youth4Ocean forum, consisting of an experience full of inspiring discussions and activities centred on the importance of ocean literacy and the preservation of marine ecosystems.
