The ESA RN27 Network Conference, promoted by the Portuguese Sociology Association and the Lusófona and Nova Universities of Lisbon, took place on 21 and 22 September. The conference took place at the Lusófona University Lisbon University Centre (21 September) and at the Nova University Lisbon Campus (22 September).

The event was attended by participants from various southern European countries such as Portugal, Spain, Italy, France and Greece.

Several parallel sessions and a plenary session were held on the premises of the Lisbon University Centre of the Lusófona University, focusing on the themes of education, social policies, territory and many others.

 On the second day, on the campus of the New University of Lisbon, participants were able to address the aforementioned themes in other parallel sessions and take part in an exciting round table discussion.
