Participation in mobility to Estonia – Erasmus+: MARKA Project – Innovation and Inclusion in the construction of an identity curriculum

As part of the Erasmus + Program “Innovation and Inclusion in the Construction of an Identity Umiculus”, post-doctoral researcher Louise Lima was on mobility in Kuressare, Estonia, between 2 and 8 October 2022, entitled “Natural Heritage – plants, rocks and fossils”. The host school was the Noruse Kuressare Gynasium Kool and was surrounded by teams from the countries of Portugal, Italy, Cyprus and Portugal.

MARKA: Innovation and Inclusion in building an identity curriculum is a 30-month international project, started in October 2020, and funded by the ERASMUS+ KA201 Program. The general objective based on the construction of an identity curriculum in articulation with the local heritage. This mobility constituted a moment for the methodology of Marka’s collaborative work experiences (implementation of the 4 challenges and articulation with local partner entities); in parallel with knowledge of education systems and school contexts in each country; promoting intercultural dialogue through the use of the English language and raising awareness of the preservation and enhancement of the country’s natural heritage.

This mobility is also one of the stages of the data collection process, including data collection, interviews and application focus groups. Data analysis for the elaboration of the Methodological Guide for the construction of a curriculum, research coordinated by Professor Ariana Cosme with the contribution of the researchers Louise Lima (CeiED) and Daniela Ferreira (CIIE-FPCEUP).
