The XIV International Seminar of the Doctoral Programme on Education Sciences took place on 15 and 16 December, at the Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences of the University of Porto, under the theme “Research in Education in contemporary times – how to do scientific research with social impact?

The researcher André Freitas was invited to moderate the round table entitled ‘Thinking about the 3rd Cycle of Studies in Educational Sciences’. This round table was chaired by André Freitas with interventions from Professor Almerindo Janela Afonso, researcher at UMinho’s Centre for Research in Education; Professor Tiago Neves, Director of the Doctoral Programme in Educational Sciences at the University of Porto; Professor Luís Alcoforado, Coordinator of the Doctoral Programme in Educational Sciences at the University of Coimbra; and Professor Carlos Alberto Ferreira, Director of the Doctoral Programme in Educational Sciences at the University of Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro.
