The Comparative Education in Southern Europe session of SPCE-SEC - the Comparative Education Section of the Portuguese Society of Education Sciences - was held on 21 September 2023 at Lusófona University.

This session, part of the Midterm Conference of the European Sociological Association RN27 - Southern European Societies - was chaired by Teresa Teixeira Lopo and had the following contributions by researchers from Universidade Lusófona, Université de Lille, Université Paris-Est Créteil, Universidade de Lisboa, Universidade do Minho, Université de Bordeaux, IESA - CSIC and Universidad de Córdoba:
