António Teodoro, Director of CeiED, is the author of an opinion article in the 11 October edition of the newspaper Público (Espaço Público section) on the youth mobilisations in Spain and France. Drawing on the concept of the "opportunity trap", the author asks why generations more educated than ever face job insecurity and difficulties in accessing housing. He argues that the answer lies in rethinking the relationship between education, work, housing, social protection and democracy, and not only in the school.
